This partnership with Denbighshire County Council is focusing on reinvigorating Rhyl’s Waterfront and integrating it with the town centre.
The initial phase of works has seen a refurbishment of the Pavilion Theatre complex and major remodeling of the external fabric and the entrance / front of house facilities. Car parking for the theatre has also been expanded and upgraded. Works were completed in Autumn 2017.
Work commenced in November 2017 on the £7 million development of a 73 bed Travelodge Hotel and a Marston’s family restaurant, both of which are programmed to open in 2018.
Future phases of work will see the development of a new restaurant circuit around the town’s cinema. This will complement the new Aquatic Centre due to open in 2019.
