This Grade II* listed former airport Terminal Building was transformed into a 164 bedroom, four star hotel for Marriott.
The redevelopment included a new three-storey extension at the front of the building in sympathy with the idiom of the original building.
The project was commended by English Heritage for its sensitive re-use of an important listed structure.
