Ion Development announced today a new appointment to head up their PR and communications support. Katie Bentley will work for the property development company on a part time basis to actively manage their press, marketing and communications needs.

Katie is a PR professional who has spent time as a journalist with Trinity Mirror. She managed the launch of Hope Street Hotel in Liverpool and more recently has worked with other hotel clients, tourist boards and property groups.

Steve Parry, Managing Director of Ion said: ‘Katie will be able to offer a hands on, in-house approach to our communications. It’s an increasingly important requirement when handling many projects at one time, that the news to our stakeholders and the public is immediately available, accurate and pertinent.’
