ION gains latest NQA management accreditations

ION has successfully achieved new ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications, demonstrating its commitment to quality and environmental management.

Having retained both accreditations from National Quality Assurance (NQA) at a previous assessment in 2022, the firm underwent and passed a recertification audit earlier this year, extending its accreditation by a further three years, subject to ongoing monitoring by NQA.

The provisions of ISO 9001:2015 cover ION’s quality management systems, while ISO14001:2015 relates to the standard of the firm’s environmental management systems, both of which are central to its delivery of large urban regeneration schemes across the UK.

Chris Jones, projects director at ION, said: “ISO9001 and ISO14001 are not only critical to the effective performance of our work, but they also provide reassurance and clarity to our partners in the public and private sector that we are committed to sustainable professional practices.

“We are therefore delighted that the NQA audit has resulted in a renewed accreditation and a confirmation that we are doing the rights on behalf of our clients.”
